NSW: NSW Lib MPs cleared over Sartor sexual harassment = 2

Mr Sartor said he wanted the NSW government to enact legislation to prevent a repeat
of "this sorry episode".

"Notwithstanding the technicality on which the committee's decision is based, the behaviour
of John Hannaford and Michael Gallacher will stand as one of the greatest abuses of parliamentary
privilege for political gain in the history of the NSW parliament," he said in a statement.

"It should also be noted that the Parliamentary Privilege and Ethics Committee, including
its Liberal Party members, chose unanimously not to pursue the allegations which remain
both untrue and unsubstantiated."
